Come and bring your family to the Andover Equestrian Center (in Linthicum) for a funfilled Saturday at the annual LSIA Festival.
The Andover Equestrian Center (Morning Side Stables) is located at 433 Andover Road. Parking is available at the Equestrian Center and on the parking lot of Lindale Middle School. The festival will be a fun-filled day to meet neighbors, enjoy some great food, meet and learn about local businesses, restaurants, and community organizations.
There will be activities for the whole family, such as pony rides (at a nominal fee) for the kids, pumpkin decorating. For adults, many select vendors will be selling premium artisan and craft items - great ideas and items for Christmas gifts. Be sure to stop by the Glory Days area and try your luck (for a small contribution). Everyone will be a winner.
The Anne Arundel County Police and our own Fire Station members are planning to attend. Get to meet our police officers and firefighters, and get a tour of our community’s fire engine and ambulance. Come meet the members of the Linthicum Decorating Committee, the Linthicum Woman’s Club, the Equestrian Center, the Linthicum Library, the Linthicum Veteran’s Memorial Committee, and the LSIA board. Learn more about these great organizations and the valuable contributions they make to our community every day.
The Linthicum Decorating Committee will be selling this year’s, and a few of past year’s, Linthicum Community Christmas ornaments. The Woman’s Club will be selling the best hot dogs at the Festival, and the local Boy Scout troop will be there grilling up hamburgers and cheeseburgers. All proceeds will help these great Linthicum organizations.
LSIA will be drawing raffle tickets to win three prizes packages. Two gift baskets and a Maryland themed large tote filled with Maryland themed items, are each valued at over $300. You can purchase raffle tickets during the Festival. Raffle tickets are $1 each, or six chances for $5. Each prize basket and the tote are filled with items and gift cards to local restaurants.
Some craft/vendor space is still available. If you are interested in having a table, the cost is $10 for the vendor spot. We can also rent a table for you at a small additional cost. Email Suzzie Schuyler at suzquilt71@gmail.com by September 30, 2019.
